HNS-8615P is a managed 4-port 10/100/1000 PoE+ uplink, 1-port 10/100/1000 RJ45 downlink, and 1-port FX/GbE SFP uplink industrial switch designed for indoor surveillance and internet access points applications. This PoE+ switch features up to 4-port PSE (power sourcing equipment) ports to control all the remote powered devices (PDs) with the help of automated features controlled from the web browser. The SFP port offers long-distance, noise-free fiber transmissions. The device has a topology map and PoE features to manage the connected devices remotely. It uses rate limitation and QoS (Quality of Service) to keep stable traffic. It offers auto-negotiation on all its ports and Modbus TCP to aggregate devices easily in industrial Ethernet applications.
This switch is built with industrial-grade components, enclosed in IP30 aluminum to protect the device from tools and hazards. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, and temperatures ranging from -10°C~60°C (14°F~140°F) it suits hardened application environments. To ensure reliability the redundant power supply and alarm relay contact on the terminal block ensures non-stop operations and issues alerts if power fails.
High-Power Budget for PoE Network Devices
Compliant with PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), the switch supplies 30W per each PoE port, and allows simple “plug and play” PoE for various types of high power-consuming PoE devices.
Manages Remote PDs from the Control Room
The switch management interface uses PD control features, like PD-alive check and PoE scheduling, to control remote devices from a central location.
DIN Rail to Power Adapter (AC to DC) & Terminal Block
"DIN-Rail Power Adapter" function is the primary power source that converts AC to DC for board operation, while “6-pin Terminal Block” supports primary and secondary power input.
