IEN-8648A-EIP is a managed 8 X 10/100/1000 RJ45 & 4 X GgE SFP Industrial Switch protected against high vibration and shock enclosed in a rugged aluminum case which can operate between extreme temperatures of -40°C to 75°C.

Ethernet/IP is a widely accepted protocol that allows different devices to be accessed through a common mechanism, an effort of four independent groups, ODVA, the Industrial Open Ethernet Association (IOANA), Control Net International (CI) and the Industrial Ethernet Association (IEA).
